Excellent service and helpful. Our first visit and the bah me was perfectly proportioned. Others had a variety of soup and noodles. Want to come back for the wonton soup and shrimp egg rolls some time. Clean and organized.

Good pho. Not the best in the city but a good bowl. The atmosphere is very casual. The service was good.

Came for brunch. bánh mì bread was great, and overall very good bánh mì! fish cake in the canh bún was good. mung bean drink was a bit too sweet for me but good texture. Lots of fun treats too, like mung bean cake, honeycomb bread (pandan), and chè.

Ai Hue is a small hole in the wall Vietnamese restaurant right off the Western Ave metro station. Like others have mentioned, it can be easy to miss but once inside, there is plenty to eat. The prices are reasonable and the family of the owner has ties to Southern California, so the food is legit haha. The service was prompt and very friendly.

Unpretentious, efficient, delicious and cost-conscious Vietnamese restaurant that is a smart place to eat in high inflation times like these. I'll be back on my next visit to the Twin Cities.

Ai hue is a hidden gem on University Avenue. It's tucked behind a Thai restaurant. To get to this place you drive thru an alley and park in the back. This is one of my to go places for pho. Some of the best pho in the twin cities. I usually order the pho with an assorted cuts of beef. I love my pho fully loaded with meat. If that's what you love too you won't be disappointed at this place. The portion size is good. Service is excellent! Waiters/waitress may not speak English very well but that has never been an issue for me to request or ask for what I need. Once you're done eating you walk up to the register and pay.
